The Artist
I’m a mixed media artist based in Brampton, Ontario, creating colourful, expressive artwork inspired by emotion, connection, and everyday joy. My practice includes both original personal work and custom pet portraits, and I approach each piece with the same intention—to create art that feels approachable, meaningful, and full of life.
Colour plays a central role in my work. I’m drawn to vibrant palettes and playful details, using them as a way to communicate feeling rather than realism alone. Whether I’m painting a beloved pet or developing an original piece, I focus on capturing personality and emotional presence. I’m less interested in perfect likeness and more interested in the spark that makes a subject feel alive and familiar.
My pet portraits, in particular, are rooted in connection. I see them as collaborations between myself and the client—artworks that honour the bond people share with their animals. These pieces are meant to feel celebratory and heartfelt, serving as lasting reminders of companionship, love, and everyday moments that matter deeply.
Alongside commissions, my personal work allows me to explore emotion more freely, often reflecting themes of joy, comfort, nostalgia, and warmth. I want my art to feel welcoming rather than intimidating, and I intentionally create with the everyday viewer in mind. Art doesn’t need to be inaccessible or overly serious to be meaningful.
At its core, my work is about turning emotion into something tangible. Whether someone connects with a piece because it reminds them of a pet, a feeling, or a moment in their own life, that connection is what matters most to me.
